Claire is Editor-at-Large of Finito World, the employability magazine for difficult times. She is a highly experienced writer, researcher and editor who has spent more than 20 years helping large global businesses, professional services firms, not-for-profits, tech start-ups and individuals tell engaging stories in a lively way. She is also the founder of Claire Legal, a corporate editorial business, and works with Finito students and career change mentoring candidates to craft CVs, biographies and other written credentials that captivate and inspire prospective employers. Claire began her career in legal journalism, working as City Editor at The Lawyer and then Editor at leading monthly title, Legal Business. She started her own business in 2005 and has gone on to work with a wide range of City institutions and professionals on the creation of first-class written content, including thought leadership, policy and research documents, pitch materials, internal communications and web copy. Comfortable operating at Partner, CEO and Board level, Claire researches, drafts, designs and consults on speeches, strategy documents, client briefings, annual reviews, white papers, graduate recruitment materials, CSR reports, blogs, awards submissions, brochures, legal updates and articles. She also works as a consultant to global elite law firms on strategy development, competitor analysis and client research, having developed deep insights into the profession over two decades. Claire continues to work as a freelance journalist for a range of City titles including Financial News, Private Equity International, Buyouts Insider and Private Debt Investor, where she is recognised as an expert in corporate finance, private equity, alternative asset management and regulatory change. She is a graduate of the London School of Economics and City University, London.
