Dr Madhu Parmar is a highly accomplished professional executive coach with a background in the pharmaceuticals industry. Across a 45-year career, she has worked for FTSE 100 companies in many roles and in numerous countries, most recently leading on significant mergers and acquisitions and change projects in leadership positions at GSK.
Madhu has spent many years providing critical support to senior executives as both a thought partner and in project delivery. She gained her PhD in Chemistry as a result of her investigation into fluoride chemistry and went on to develop new medicines for GSK as first a formulation scientist and then a principal development scientist. She has also been a university lecturer, supervising MSc and PhD students. As her work developing medicines progressed, Madhu made the link between scientific research and the ability to bring hope to others. This led her to take a more holistic view of how people encounter and embrace life experiences, which now inspires her coaching and mentoring as she seeks to help people become the very best that they can be. As a qualified yoga teacher, Madhu combines a compassionate approach with the curiosity of a highly qualified scientist and extensive multicultural, cross-border work experience to support others in their life and career journeys. In her spare time, she enjoys travelling to experience other cultures and civilisations, and loves gardening.
